Due to continued growth of operations, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Advisor to join our Cyber Security Consulting services department.

Requirements

Reporting to a Manager, the appointed candidate will be actively involved in the implementation of diversified & challenging engagements primarily in the area of Cyber Incident Response and Information and Cyber Security Consulting services.

As a Senior Advisor in Cyber Security specializing in Incident Response Services, your daily life revolves around ensuring the resilience of systems against cyber threats, reviewing alerts and incidents, assessing their severity, and coordinating response efforts with the incident response team. Throughout the day, you might engage in threat hunting, analyzing potential vulnerabilities, and developing strategies to mitigate risks, spend a significant amount of time liaising with other departments, providing guidance on security best practices, and conducting training sessions to raise awareness about emerging threats. The role demands constant vigilance, staying updated on the latest cyber threats, and being prepared to act swiftly and decisively in the face of an incident.

Candidate profile

• University Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, at a postgraduate level.

• More than three years of professional experience in Cyber Security, preferably in Cyber Incident Response services.

• Working knowledge of existing frameworks, including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, EU GDPR, MITRE ATT&CK and cloud computing infrastructures.

• Working knowledge in providing consultancy and professional services to clients regarding Incident Response preparedness.

• Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills, both in Greek and English.

• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and team working skills. Willing to learn and work in a multicultural environment.

• Excellent organizational skills, flexibility and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.

Technical Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Windows\Linux\Unix operating systems.

• Good knowledge of networking.

• Good knowledge of penetration testing.

• Familiar with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, and in at least one scripting/programming language (Python preferred), and/or extensive experience with text processing in a Linux/Unix shell environment (e.g., cut, sed, awk, grep).

• Good knowledge of major programming languages such as PHP, C++, C, C#, Java.

• Basic understanding of Internet-based application security.
