Information Technology Manager

As we continue to grow, we're seeking a talented Information Technology Manager, for our offices in Athens, to play a key role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a keen interest in AI projects and cloud technologies, playing a crucial role in shaping our future technological endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all IT operations infrastructure.
- Installs and configures the hardware equipment and the software tools/programs of the company.
- Maintains the hardware equipment and the software tools/programs of the company and monitors the health of the hardware equipment and the software tools/programs of the company.
- Manages user accounts, email accounts, phone extensions.
- Manages access to various IT resources.
- Troubleshooting of Level 1 & 2 Technical Issues and escalating them if unable to resolve.
- Monitors the helpdesk activity/operation for various repeating issues.
- Liaising with other departments to determine and address their IT needs and requirements.
- Guides users on how to use the company hardware equipment and software tools/programs.
- Manages orders and procurement of IT hardware equipment and software tools/programs.
- Adhere to company policies, processes, procedures and work instructions, subject to internal audits.
- Ensure systems are secured and protected from breach and viruses.
- Asset management including inventory maintenance and documentation.
Requirements:
- BA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Hardware, Software Engineering or related field. MA degree will be considered an asset.
- Proven working experience as an IT professional of at least 3 years, with a focus on system administration, network management, or a specific area of expertise.
- Knowledge and understanding of IT Systems, Technologies, Infrastructure, Networks and Processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of software tools/programs.
- Experience in IT Systems and Infrastructure.
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Security Principles and Standards.
- Experience in Cloud Technologies, Microsoft Azure, Office365.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
