About the team and role

At the Kariera Group Product team, you will act as the dedicated Product Manager for one of Kariera Group’s products, reporting directly to the Vice President of Product who is based in Athens, Greece and with a dotted line reporting into MD, Singapore. Ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of UI/UX and shall guide the team towards building an engaging data driven user experience.

This is a unique opportunity to drive product strategy and delivery for the Brightsparks platform, the leading scholarships portal in Singapore.

 

Job description

• Analyze and understand incoming business requirements, identify the user pain points behind these and propose solutions.
• Drive improvements in key business metrics through analysis of internal data, public data, marketplace, customers, and competitors in the Singapore market.
• Maintain and manage your product backlog, iteration planning, prioritize stories/bugs for your software developer team and confirm that all stories are fully elaborated before being inserted in the Sprint backlog.
• Collaborate with our Business, Operations, and PED (product, engineering, design) teams to shape a product vision, strategy and roadmap for your product.
• Actively contribute in acceptance testing, UATs and TOLs and in general sign-off any work produced by the engineering team before shipping it to the customer, ensuring high quality standards.
• Maintain knowledge wiki pages in Confluence for the new features and own the end-to-end product documentation for business users (User maps, User flows, User journeys, etc.).
• Collect and analyze data about your feature launches in order to validate goals and continuously iterate.
• Meet with customers to present new product features and gain insight into new product opportunities.
• Initiate product partnerships opportunities with government and private organizations that can help strengthen product, increase usage and conversions. 

 

Desired Skills and Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in product management
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in a well-known, innovative and highly-trafficked online environment
• Demonstrated organization, prioritization and multitasking proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and drive to succeed
• High level of data literacy
• Ability to comfortably engage and interact with internal and external personnel of various levels and disciplines
• Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge in a fast-paced, complex environment
• Cross-cultural communication.

 

Location: Greece remote (optionally hybrid) with frequent travel to Singapore
