The Technical Support Specialist will provide higher-level technical support software/hardware related issues as well as undertake analysing, troubleshooting, evaluating technology software installations and maintenance issues, for our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates expanding or enhanced computer operations; makes recommendations for improvement and upgrades to hardware and software to manage workload and system requirements.
  • Provides technical support—identifying, investigating, and resolving users’ problems with computer software and hardware—for problems that are expertise of Technical Team.
  • Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems.
  • Collaborates with other employees to research and resolve problems.
  • Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
  • Develops and communicates department projects and goals.
  • Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Document changes, revisions and problems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
  • Fluency in English language, both written & spoken.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High level troubleshooting skills on Microsoft client software (Windows, Office).
  • High level troubleshooting ERP client-side requests/issues.
  • Basic networking understanding (TCP/IP, DNS).
  • Basic Knowledge for supporting the implementation of cybersecurity measures.
  • Basic Knowledge VOIP Technology.
  • Basic knowledge of other MS software (Active Directory, Windows Server Administration, SQL, etc.).
  • Experience in an Industrial IT environment will be considered a plus.
