The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for automating and optimizing our development environments and participate as a consultant to customer projects. They will work closely with software developers, system operators (SysOps), and other IT staff members to oversee code releases and deployments. They bridge the gap between development and operations, collaborating with both teams to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize software deployment.

 

Your Taks:

• Work with software developers and IT staff to enable efficient code releases.
• Use automation tools and frameworks for quick code deployment (CI/CD).
• Automate deployment pipelines for effective software delivery.
• Create, manage, and maintain on-prem & cloud infrastructure.
• Manage, monitor, and improve infrastructure performance, including network and cloud environments.
• Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new system architecture.
• Fix and prevent issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Create and update documentation for system processes and procedures.
• Safeguard software systems to avoid security breaches and vulnerabilities.
• Improve infrastructure design and management.
• Work cooperatively with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and system administrators.
• Communicate effectively to ensure a smooth software development life cycle.

 

Your Knowledge and skills:

• Solid grasp of development and operations processes.
• Practical experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc), and on-prem infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in DevOps practices and infrastructure management.
• Comfortable with multi-cloud environments.
• Good skills in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Comfortable with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent skills in problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Expertise in operating system design and database management systems.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Understanding of security practices and DevSecOps.
• Experience with system monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and log management (ELK stack).
