ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, one of the leading companies in cyber security services, is seeking for a Junior Sales Engineer to join their team.

Junior Sales Engineer (5523/SE/ESS/GR)
 
The Junior Sales Engineer (SE) will be an integral part of the company’s cyber security team, assisting in managing customer relationships, exploring new opportunities, and supporting the sales process. The candidate will work closely with the sales team, learning the ropes of technical sales and promoting the company’s cyber security solutions to customers and partners. Under the guidance of senior team members, the candidate will engage with clients, deliver technical briefings, and participate in solution architecture discussions. The responsibilities will include supporting the sales cycle, qualifying opportunities, and assisting in the bidding process.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales team, customers, and partners to understand their needs and communicate the technical value of the company’s solutions.
  • Assist in delivering technical presentations, demos, and responses to requests for information/proposals (RFI/RFPs).
  • Explore new sales opportunities by developing technical relationships and participating in solution architecture discussions.
  • Present the company’s services from both technical and business perspectives, managing expectations with senior stakeholders.
  • Assist in qualifying sales opportunities and supporting the bidding process, including solution design and proposal coordination.
  • Ensure smooth transition from sales to service delivery.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in technology or information security.
  • Familiarity with managed security services, SIEM, cloud security, and related technologies is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of customer requirements, solution design, and bid management.
  • Motivated and target-oriented with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or relevant product certifications are advantageous.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
