NEUROPUBLIC (www.neuropublic.gr ) is an innovative Informatics and Technology company founded in 2003 in Piraeus, specializing in the development of Web- and Cloud-based integrated information systems and applications meeting high requirements. We developed the first and only large-scale Internet of Things infrastructure in Greece, installing thousands of wireless sensors, which we designed and manufactured, on agricultural land.
We are looking for a highly skilled SQL Developer to join our team, based at our head office in Piraeus, Attica or Thessaloniki, Greece, for the implementation and support of IT projects of the public sector.
The role would suit a candidate with minimum 3 years experience focusing on the implementation of data modeling and data management frameworks with a strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures. You will be working with a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team designing and implementing information systems.
Responsibilities
- Contribute in technical requirements analysis
- Data model specification
- Design, implement and support data management systems
- Design and implement security mechanism and data access control policies
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure system documentation is kept current and accurate
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer Science or related field
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Working experience with Java 7/8 and/or Python
- Working experience with ORMs
- Knowledge to build REST web services
- Excellent understanding of the development process (information gathering, planning, design, development)
- Versions control systems (Git)
- Excellent Greek and English communication skills, both written and verbal
