Responsibilities

• You will lead testing and quality assurance projects for the digital products of GWF. This includes writing and execution of the test plans, and test automation for software products and features.
• You will be mentoring and coaching colleagues in your domains of expertise. This will contribute to growing a healthy SW QA culture in the organization.
• You will contribute towards program goals, ensuring schedules are met and deliverables are signed-off in time, scope, and budget.
• To excel in this role, you will further need to think beyond your area of expertise and recognize dependencies across the technology stack, i.e., across hardware, and all layers of the software. For this you will research new and existing technologies to determine how they could be applied in new ways to solve problems.

 
Qualifications and experience

• Experience as a Software QA Engineer, with at least 4 years in a lead role.
• Understanding of frontend stack fundamentals (e.g. JavaScript, CSS preprocessors and bundling tools, React Remix run, Next.js).
• Experience in web frameworks (e.g. Python/Django) and relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL).

• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing principles is required. Experience with Cloud Services, especially Azure
• Experience with static and dynamic code analysis tools is required.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium).
• Relevant testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.

• Ability to fluently interface with internal and external stakeholders on a technical level.
• Excellent English communication skills is a must, German is a strong plus.
• Good communication and presentation skills are a must.
• MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar rounds up your profile.
