To meet our current corporate needs, we are looking to bring to our team an Application Support Engineer

In this role, you will:

• Monitoring and resolving open production issues at the 2nd level within designated timeframes.
• Promptly initiating a "Problem" report when the root cause of an incident remains unidentified.
• Conducting advanced troubleshooting for production incidents and problems.
• Taking ownership of problem monitoring and tracking, with a focus on process improvement for recurring issues.
• Reproducing incidents and validating fixes through regression testing.
• Contributing to root cause analysis efforts to prevent future outages or quality issues.
• Flexibility is key as this position requires shift work and occasional international travel due to our global clientele.

Your profile should include:

• Hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Possess 1-2 years of experience in Application Support, System Administration, SW-QA, or DEVOPS.
• Have solid system administration skills in Linux and Windows environments. Experience with cluster management is considered a plus.
• Be familiar with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, New Relic, or log analysis platforms like Kibana.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MySQL and familiarity with Oracle or Mongo DB.
• Bonus points for experience in automation testing and scripting languages.
• Communicate effectively in both written and spoken Greek and English.
• Prioritize teamwork and value collective success over individual achievements.
