Junior IT Support Engineer

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Run the day-to-day technical support operations, which encompasses all troubleshooting, customer service issues, installations, and maintenance activities
  • Ensure clients' issues and concerns are addressed in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all problems are accurately logged within the Helpdesk system, resolved promptly and efficiently, or escalated where appropriate.
  • Interact with all customers on 2nd level to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner
  • Practice IT asset management, including maintenance of IT component inventory and related documentation and technical specification information
  • Build, deploy and maintain systems, network, and security infrastructure & applications
  • Assist with projects of all sizes including technology infrastructure and software projects.
  • You may on occasion be required to travel between sites including other offices and store locations.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of networking in terms of equipment as well as infrastructure
  • Basic knowledge of Subnetting, Switching, Routing issues as well as VPN protocols
  • Excellent knowledge of English Language
  • Fluent oral and written command of the Greek language
  • Confident, clear communicator who is able to manage client expectations whilst remaining calm and polite.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment, collaborating and achieving shared goals with others.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
