IT Helpdesk Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Helpdesk Technician to join our IT team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a strong desire to assist end-users in resolving technical issues, both on-site and remotely via a ticketing system. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a customer-centric approach to IT support, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to both on-site and remote end-users via phone, email, or in person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
• Collaborate with team members to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT equipment and peripherals.
• Create and update documentation for IT procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Manage and prioritize support requests through the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or relevant field
• Proven experience in IT Helpdesk or a related role are considered an asset
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS operating systems
• Good knowledge of Office365 suite
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and application issues
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
• Ability to work in shifts
• Proficiency in English
