Faraday Norton, a holding company with a diverse portfolio in energy, real estate and retail is seeking for an IT Support Engineer to oversee the whole company infrastructure from network, telephony, user management to servers, security and hardware.

 

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure end-user software and hardware.
  • Manage network, telephony infrastructure and printers.
  • Support internal users, identifying issues and providing efficient solutions.
  • Manage MS 365 applications and users.
  • Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance, upgrades and patching.
  • Ensure stock level of equipment, consumables and other supplies.
  • Maintain software and hardware inventory and be responsible for licenses administration and asset tracking.
  • Participate in procurement and vendor proposal evaluation processes.


Requirements

  • BSc Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer, System Administrator, or similar role
  • MS Windows and MS Office setup and administration
  • Hands-on experience with VoIP call center equipment and software (softphone, physical phones, headphones, Asterisk PBX, Vici Dial etc.)
  • Administration and management of MS 365 applications including, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive for Business and Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with routing, switching and firewalling is desirable.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational, coordination and time management skills
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both written and oral is mandatory.
  • Prior experience with Cloud based solutions IaaS, SaaS, PaaS and/ or virtualization technologies will be considered as a strong asset.
