Job Description
A day in the life of a User Support Operator
As a User Support Operator, you will be a part of the IT Front Desk Support team in Athens, Greece.
Your main duties will be to:
- Setup, configure and troubleshoot Windows laptops
- Install and configure common productivity applications such as MS Office 365
- Troubleshoot user-side hardware and software issues
- Install and administer videoconference equipment
- Assist in office moves (IT asset transfers)
- Configure and maintain user accounts through the provisioning process
- Maintain the respective asset registry
Qualifications
If you have
- Degree in Information Technology or relative faculty
- Experience in a similar environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10
- Expertise in laptop hardware
- Proficiency in providing support for MS Office Applications
- Very good command of working with IOS and Android devices
- Familiarity with MAC OS and MAC hardware
- Solid understanding of Windows Active Directory principles
- Acquaintance with basic networking principles (DNS, DHCP, LDAP)
- Knowledge of Operating Systems imaging solutions
- Excellent command of the English language (written and oral)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communicational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Capability to work in an international/multicultural environment
