Your tasks as a Data Engineer would include the following: 

• Creation of concepts for cloud-based projects. 
• Analyzing and description of data structures and data transformations 
• Clarify and define requirements together with stakeholders. 
• Getting familiar with domain knowledge (medical device machine data) 
• Test and quality checks of data pipeline results 
• Close collaboration with your colleagues in an agile development environment 

Ideally, you have the following qualifications (certified skills are preferable):

• Intermediate SQL skills 
• Intermediate Python skills (or similar programming language like Scala) 
• Basic PySpark knowledge 
• Basic knowledge about data types / data modelling 
• Advanced English skills (ability to communicate complex topics in English) 
• Basic Git knowledge 

Some nice to have skills would include the following: 

• Basic knowledge about cloud-based data services, ideally in Azure, like Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory etc. 
• Basic familiarity with collaboration tools for software projects (Azure DevOps or similar) 
• Knowledge of C# or similar language object orientated languages. 
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts (Azure DevOps pipelines) 
• Agile development methods e.g., Scrum
