seeking a talented HR Manager to join a dynamic and innovative team.
We are seeking a dynamic HR Manager to support Seaborne / SCC and future shipping-related expansion. This role goes beyond traditional HR administration and focuses equally on talent development, organizational growth, and cultivating a high-performance learning culture.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate agility, strong soft skills, initiative, and genuine interest in the Shipping sector. The position blends operational HR responsibilities with strategic professional development, acting as a catalyst for continuous learning and organizational advancement.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Support
- Manage day-to-day HR functions including onboarding, employee records, and HR policies.
- Support recruitment processes for shipping and related roles (from sourcing to onboarding).
- Assist with performance management processes and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure HR practices align with company growth and expansion plans in the shipping sector.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees across Seaborne / SCC.
Professional Development & Training
- Design, coordinate, and implement structured training and development programs.
- Organize internal and external learning initiatives (courses, workshops, guest speakers, seminars).
- Curate and distribute high-quality learning materials (e.g., Harvard Business Review articles, books, research insights).
- Establish a regular, high-level learning calendar aligned with the group’s strategic vision.
- Track and evaluate the impact of training initiatives on employee growth and performance.
Culture & Organizational Advancement
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence.
- Support leadership in developing talent pipelines for future shipping expansion.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives across departments.
- Contribute to employer branding and retention strategies.
Strategic Support
- Collaborate with management on organizational development initiatives.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend targeted development solutions.
- Support internal communication and engagement programs.
Candidate Profile
- 3–7 years of experience in HR, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or similar roles.
- Prior exposure to the shipping, maritime, or international business environment is strongly preferred.
- Not necessarily a senior HR professional, but highly proactive, adaptable, and growth-oriented.
- Demonstrated interest in training, education, and professional development initiatives.
