Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Rewards Lead - Compensation & Variable Pay to join our Group HR function in Athens, Greece and play a key role in shaping and evolving our total reward strategy across all geographies and business units.

In this senior expert role, you will act as a strategic advisor to HR leadership, Finance, and senior management, ensuring our compensation and incentive frameworks remain competitive, equitable, and closely aligned with business strategy. You will combine strong analytical depth with executive-level communication, influencing decisions that directly support performance, value creation, and long-term growth.

Your role will encompass:

Compensation Strategy & Governance

  • Lead the design, review, and governance of global salary structures, ranges, and progression frameworks


  • Ensure strong alignment between internal job architecture, market benchmarks, and the Group's total reward philosophy


  • Continuously assess internal equity, pay compression, and market positioning risks, proactively recommending actions


Variable Pay & Incentives

  • Design and evolve short- and long-term incentive frameworks for broad-based employee populations


  • Review performance metrics, affordability, and alignment with value creation objectives


  • Provide expert guidance on incentive outcomes, scenario analysis, and risk considerations


Advisory & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a senior subject-matter expert on compensation topics across assigned business areas


  • Partner closely with HRBPs, providing guidance on complex reward decisions and exceptions


  • Participate in governance forums related to pay, incentives, and reward risk


Market Insights & Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Lead compensation benchmarking using reputable market surveys


  • Translate market and internal data into clear insights for policy decisions and senior leadership discussions


  • Contribute to dashboards, analytics, and insight generation in collaboration with People Analytics


Projects & Senior Exposure

  • Lead or co-lead major Rewards initiatives, such as salary structure redesigns, incentive evolution, and system implementations


  • Prepare and present reward-related materials to senior HR leadership and business stakeholders


  • Support executive storytelling and communication on complex reward topics


What you bring to the role:

  • 10+ years of experience in Compensation / Total Rewards roles within complex, international organizations


  • Deep expertise in:


    • Salary structures and job pricing


    • Variable pay design (STI & LTI)


    • Market benchmarking and survey management


  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations


  • Excellent presentation and storytelling capabilities, comfortable engaging at executive level


  • Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and navigating complex decision-making environments


  • Experience working with HRIS and reward analytics tools
