As a People and Culture Assistant you will support the effective delivery of People and Culture operations across our restaurants in Greece. You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and day-to-day HR administration, while helping promote a positive workplace culture. Working closely with restaurant managers and the People and Culture team, you will contribute to employee engagement, compliance, and the smooth operation of people-related processes that support overall business success. This role will be based in Athens from November - April and in Mykonos from May - October
Making it Happen
Daily HR Operations Support
- Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Process all HR-related paperwork
- Accurately maintain staff files and ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements
- Update and maintain HRIS system with data changes
- Prepare employment verification letters and respond to external inquiries
- Be the primary point of contact for all accommodation/transportation – related matters
Talent Acquisition Support
- Partner with department heads to understand staffing needs across all restaurants' departments
- Post positions on hospitality job boards
- Source candidates through various platforms
- Conduct phone screens and coordinate interview schedules
- Manage the applicant tracking system and ensure timely candidate communication
- Extend offers and conduct pre-employment screenings
Onboarding & New Hire Experience
- Conduct weekly new hire orientation sessions covering company culture, benefits, and policies
- Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth first-day experiences
- Distribute uniforms, name tags, parking passes, and associate handbooks
- Schedule departmental training and ensure completion of required certifications (food safety, alcohol service, etc.)
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of hospitality administrative experience
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Ergani, Softone etc)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience with applicant tracking systems
