Our client, a well-established pharmaceutical company, seeks to recruit an HR Business Partner (fixed-term contract).

Role overview: The position combines strategic and operational responsibilities, with a strong focus on payroll management, total rewards and HR administration processes. Acting as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, the ideal candidate ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies while driving various HR initiatives and projects.

Main responsibilities

  • Manages end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
  • Ensures full compliance with labor laws and internal procedures, including the transition to digital timekeeping systems.
  • Collaborates with all business units to ensure alignment of payroll and HR practices.
  • Handles employee relations issues and support conflict resolution.
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Coordinates and administers HR operations such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits, and offboarding.
  • Facilitates training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Provides guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Prepares HR reports and analytics for leadership, including headcount, turnover, and compensation metrics.
  • Partners with senior management to address HR needs and strategic planning.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources will be considered a plus
  • At least 5 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to payroll and compensation management
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical industry will be considered an asset
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems; experience with Epsilon Net software system
  • Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
  • Fully proficient in using MS Excel
