We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our HR team. If you have experience with payroll, Greek labour law, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, then apply now.

Responsibilities:

  • Collection, validation, and entry of payroll-related data; active involvement in payroll processing and issuance
  • Oversight of time and attendance systems, including leave management, overtime, shift scheduling, and premium calculations
  • Administration of employee lifecycle changes (hirings, terminations, contractual amendments), ERGANI submissions, and maintenance of accurate personnel records
  • Undertaking the creation of employees' employment contracts.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Being responsible for compliance with all the company obligations to the Ministry of Labor (ERGANI) and existing labor provisions (Announcements of Recruitment, Departures, Schedules of Working Hours, etc.)
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations, and update payroll policies and procedures as needed
  • Preparation and analysis of payroll reports and workforce statistics
  • Assist with other HR-related tasks as needed, including onboarding new employees, administering benefits, and maintaining employee records

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in payroll administration
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience using payroll software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
