Among the various industries we recruit for, we are exclusively retained to find a HR Director on behalf of a client in the Food and Beverage industry.

About the role

The role requires a strong HR leader who can drive cultural alignment, operational excellence, and organizational growth across both corporate and manufacturing environments. This is a senior leadership position, reporting directly to top management, with a broad scope across HR strategy, employee relations, talent development, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial or plant settings and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, multi-site, cross-border environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall HR strategy, aligning it with business objectives to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency across all sites
• Partner closely with plant leadership to ensure effective workforce planning, labor relations, and employee engagement in a production environment
• Lead initiatives in recruitment, talent development, performance management, and succession planning to strengthen organizational capability
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies, while fostering a positive and productive working environment
• Drive cultural transformation, change management, and leadership development programs to support continuous improvement and innovation
• Manage and mentor a team of HR professionals, ensuring consistent execution of HR practices and policies across multiple locations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 
• Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role within an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Proven track record in leading HR strategy across multi-site operations, preferably in food production, FMCG, or a related sector
• Experience managing organizational change, restructuring, or cultural transformation in complex environments.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR initiatives with operational and commercial priorities
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR teams across different locations and functions
• Fluency in English 
• Willingness to travel regularly between company sites as needed
