Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compensation and Benefits Specialist/Analyst to join our Group HR Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing compensation and benefits programs across multiple countries, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR data analysis, job gradings, salary, and benefits benchmarking, with a proven track record of success in a multinational environment. The position reports directly to the Group HR Director.
- Compensation Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of compensation structures and practices across multiple countries
- Utilize HR data analytics to assess the effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation programs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for optimizing compensation practices
- Maintaining and updating HR & Compensation data within internal budget and reporting tools
- Benefits & Payroll Administration:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all countries of operation
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to benefits offerings to attract and retain top talent
- Provide payroll-related support to employees, resolve inquiries and maintain high standards of employee satisfaction
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits
- Job Grading and Evaluation:
- Develop and maintain job grading frameworks and evaluation processes to ensure internal equity and consistency
- Conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate job classifications and salary ranges
- Provide guidance to HR teams and managers on job grading methodologies and best practices
- Salary Benchmarking:
- Conduct regular benchmarking studies to assess the competitiveness of salary structures across regions and industries
- Analyze market data and industry trends to make recommendations for salary adjustments and compensation strategies
- Partner with external vendors and consultants as needed to obtain relevant benchmarking data
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Compile and analyze HR data related to compensation, benefits, and employee demographics monthly
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations
- Utilize data visualization techniques to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, particularly concerning staff costs
- Compliance and Governance:
- Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to compensation and benefits
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and ensure compliance across all jurisdictions
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, including payroll processing and workforce management
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a relevant field; a master’s degree in HRM will be considered a strong plus
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail
- Experience with HRIS and payroll software (Ideally Scan-HRMS)
- Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office, with a strong focus on Excel
- Fluency in both English and Greek
- Effective interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
- Proven expertise in managing and protecting sensitive and confidential information
