As an HR Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our organization, ensuring that our employees feel valued, supported, and engaged. From managing and promoting employee well-being through the coordination of welfare services, including staff housing, transfers, uniforms, meals, and engagement activities to overseeing administrative functions, your efforts will help create a positive, safe and supportive work environment that enhances employee satisfaction, morale and retention.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement programs that support employees’ physical, emotional, and social well-being that promote job satisfaction
- Address and support the resolution of employee complaints related to welfare services in coordination with HR and line managers.
- Oversee the allocation, upkeep, and occupancy of staff housing accommodations, ensuring compliance with company policies and coordination with facilities and maintenance teams.
- Coordinate employee transfers between departments or locations, providing relocation support including housing, transportation, and orientation.
- Manage the distribution, inventory, and upkeep of staff uniforms and workwear, ensuring availability, supplier coordination, and adherence to uniform policies across departments.
- Monitor the quality and availability of staff meals in collaboration with the canteen and culinary teams; conduct regular feedback surveys and ensure hygiene and food safety standards are upheld.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives such as health camps, team-building activities, awareness campaigns, and cultural celebrations to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Serve as a communication bridge between staff and HR on welfare matters; prepare reports on service usage and feedback, and recommend improvements based on data insights.
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new employees, making their transition into the Canaves Family seamless and exciting.
- Assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and effective communication across the organization.
- Help organize and facilitate training and development initiatives to empower our team.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Experience with staff accommodation and facility management is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and empathy.
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of welfare services, housing, logistics, and employee engagement.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards and local labour laws.
- Fluency in Greek and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
