Ella Resorts is a newly established hospitality management company, boasting a collection of eco-chic hospitality properties. In 2024, Ella Resorts will be operating a portfolio of 7 lifestyle & family resorts on the islands of Rhodes, Corfu & Crete, offering exceptional quality and service excellence. In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire:

HR Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist will work under the general guidance of the Group HR Function and will handle the administrative tasks in the Human Resources department, at the property level, in accordance with the Hotel’s standards and procedures. Assists and supports management and the leadership team with handling and resolving Human Resources issues.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the point of reference between the Hotel Management and the employees always maintaining confidentiality of all information.
  • Resolves the internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provides assistance to HODs
  • Maintains the personnel-related records (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and virtual databases according to the corporate policies
  • Liaises actively with other departments or functions and supports the HODs in employee related issues
  • Oversees weekly employee schedules and approves or provides adjustments ensuring an efficient labor cost
  • Monitors time & attendance /payroll procedures and prepares relevant reports
  • Assists with planning, coordinating, and executing employee activities and Human Resource’s programs / events
  • Supports engagement with the vision, mission and values of the company and create positive employee experiences
  • Ensures staff are effectively onboarded at a local level
  • Maintains a positive relationship with staff representatives and ensures any employee grievances are monitored and resolved
  • Supports current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital


Requirements

  • 3+ years working experience in a similar role in Hospitality industry
  • Degree / Diploma on HR, or equivalent
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Excellent knowledge of ERGANI program
  • HRM systems experience such as Pylon is required
  • Good knowledge of labour law and payroll procedures
