The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Continuous Improvement Coordinator (Συντονιστής/ρια Συνεχούς Βελτίωσης)”, for its premises in Halkidiki. The position will report to the Mine Operations Manager of the Underground Production Department, based in Olympias.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identification and discussion with his supervisor of critical Technology, processing, mechanical and construction projects that provide attractive NPV and IRR rates and create increased profitability inside the organization.
- Identification and ability to design and implement new technological projects that will provide new business opportunities and significant cost reductions.
- Leadership and development of continuous improvement projects.
- Identification and delivery of service improvement activity across the business through employing process improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinking.
- Collaboration with key business stakeholders to fully implement continuous improvement projects that will be assigned from the departmental prioritization matrix.
- Assistance and leadership in LEAN, 6sigma, Just-do-it process improvement workshops and Kaizen events.
- Support for the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working.
- Identification of trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system.
- Assistance in the development and implementation of a ‘best-in-class’ continuous improvement strategy.
- Participation in change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls.
- Collaboration with other team members and business services departments to devise new support material based on the revised processes, including training, reporting and systems enhancements.
- Monitoring of project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactive identification of solutions to address in advance.
- Ensuring that the business impact and project objectives/dependencies are identified, reported and managed at all times.
- Execution of ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Mining Eng, Chemical Eng, Automation, Mechanical Eng or in Finance
- Minimum 3-7 years proven experience in a similar role or in a leading role in Technology or process management
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong processes understanding in the mining sector
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet targets on time
- Excellent user of Excel, Power Point, BI, outlook, Visio, Access,
- Very good knowledge of New Technology implementation
- Confidentiality, honesty, loyalty, responsibility, initiative, proactive, time management skills
