The University of Nicosia invites applications for the role of Admissions Officer for our upcoming Athens campus. This important role supports prospective students through the admissions process while contributing to the institution’s growth and visibility in Greece. The successful candidate will implement strategic admissions activities, provide student support, and collaborate closely with academic and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Admissions Strategy & Processes
- Contribute to the development of business plans and collaborate with the Director of Admissions and team on business development initiatives.
- Implement student admissions strategies aligned with institutional objectives.
- Plan and execute recruitment events to attract potential applicants.
- Travel throughout Greece and abroad, as required, to engage with prospective students.
- Monitor competitor activity and geographic trends; prepare reports and assess implications.
- Collect and analyze feedback, ensuring a high level of client/prospect satisfaction.
- Stay current on trends, technologies, and regulations in higher education admissions.
- Support recruitment activities to meet the University’s enrolment targets.
- Manage and process student admission applications efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and issue acceptance letters to admitted students.
Student Engagement & Support
- Provide clear, responsive information and guidance to prospective students.
- Coordinate school visits, information sessions, and campus tours.
- Represent the University at education fairs, school events, and recruitment activities across Greece.
Collaboration & Liaison
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to support institutional goals.
- Liaise with external partners and institutions to strengthen outreach and visibility.
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Sales and Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in student admissions or student-facing roles within a higher education setting.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in managing data and admissions processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
