On behalf of our client, an insurance brokerage firm, we are looking to recruit a General Insurance Manager.

Main responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strong relationships with underwriting partners, both domestic and international, as well as with producers and clients
• Ensures the General Insurance team performs within management parameters, providing the highest level of service at all times
• Reviews and assesses current procedures to ensure they are effective and deliver the best results for clients and the business
• Gathers information for larger, more complex risks, evaluates client requirements, and prepares submissions for insurers

• BSc in Insurance Science, Economics, or a relevant field
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of a similar or related role
• Licensed Insurance Broker (certified by the BoG)
• Excellent command of the English language; strong written and verbal skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
