Cost Controller

to oversee operations and ensure our guests enjoy a world-class dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Oversight

   • Manage daily food and beverage operations to ensure smooth workflow.
   • Maintain high standards of service, hygiene, and quality across all areas.
   • Monitor food and beverage inventory, placing orders as necessary.
   • Efficiently operate and manage the MICROS point-of-sale system for seamless transactions and reporting.

2. Team Leadership

   • Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
   • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
   • Create schedules and assign tasks to ensure operational efficiency.

3. Customer Experience

   • Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any issues or complaints promptly.
   • Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.

4. Financial Management

   • Oversee budgets and control costs to maximize profitability.
   • Analyze sales reports and implement improvements where needed.
   • Utilize reports to monitor performance metrics and optimize revenue.

5. Compliance and Safety

   • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
   • Maintain proper food handling practices and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-end restaurant or resort.
• Mandatory knowledge of the MICROS point-of-sale system.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Greek or other languages is an asset.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for food, beverages, and exceptional customer service.
