He / She is responsible for creating an exceptional guest culinary experience through preparation, cooking, and food presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the hotel guests with the highest and most efficient hospitality service.
- Works in the designated station as set by the supervisor.
- Able to organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders.
- Able to produce quality products promptly and efficiently for the guests
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation at the assigned work area.
- Replenishes service lines as needed, restocks, and prepares the workstation for the next shift.
- Ensures that all products are correctly stored in the correct location at the appropriate levels at all times.
Qualifications
- Diploma from a culinary school is a plus
- Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and brick or stone oven
- Team spirit
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
