is searching for a Financial Senior Analyst to join our Financial Reporting & Planning Department in Marousi (Athens).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly reports for management purposes, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flows, working capital analysis, capital expenditure analysis etc.
• Compare actual financial results to budgets and forecast and explain variances when necessary.
• Prepare reports for financial reporting purposes on a trimester basis.
• Prepare statutory reporting and align to Group requirements.
• Identify any ongoing issues that affect financial and management reporting and ensure accuracy, quality control and integrity of financial reporting.
• Assist in developing digital enhancements, functionality, testing and administration of the reporting tools used by the company.
• Develop complex financial models in Excel and analyze scenarios for the long-term and mid-term plans of the company. Analyze results and communicate them to management.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for management. Prepare information to be included in external and statutory reporting.
• Work with internal or external auditors to verify or provide information.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in Financial Reporting or Financial analysis positions or within an audit firm (Preferably Big 4).
• A relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CA, ICAS, CPA, IESOEL) completed or at final stages would be considered an asset.
• Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business or equivalent would be considered an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of applicable accounting and reporting standards (e.g. IFRS, Chart of accounts).
• SAP & BPC knowledge would be considered and asset.
• Ability to comprehend financial data and be able to present them using detailed reports and charts.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both orally and in writing.
• Exhibits a positive can-do attitude and approach to responsibilities; meets new challenges and changes with an open mind; demonstrates commitment to the job; with initiative and can work independently as well as part of the team.
