The Copper & Alloys Extrusion Division of ElvalHalcor is searching for a detail-οriented FINANCIAL ANALYSIS SPECIALIST with a continuous improvement mindset to join our dynamic Finance department team in our plant in Oinofyta Voiotia, Greece.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in interim and year-end preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Participate in the budget, forecasting, reporting and strategic planning processes.
• Assist with the processing and analysis of financial and operational production data.
• Preparation of profitability reports to support management’s decisions.
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports.
• Perform Expenses control and variances reports analysis.
• Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products.
• Work closely with shared service team to ensure quality and timeliness of information received at corporate level.
• Develop or revise policies and procedures related to functional responsibilities, identifying process improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.
• Create ad hoc reports.

Qualifications:

• Degree in any of the fields: of Economics/Mathematical & Physical Sciences/Business Administration accompanied by sound grasp of business finance.
• Sound knowledge and usage of SAP main modules (SD/FI/CO/MM) to extract data is needed and will be considered a major plus
• Expert Excel skills and usage is expected.
• The ability to immediately adapt and perform based on the desired output while meeting tight deadlines.
• Self-motivation and drive to develop one’s own expertise by taking on greater responsibilities and/or more technically demanding tasks.
• Critical & independent thinking and the ability to challenge the status-qvo of doing things.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral, in Greek and English.
• Detailed understanding of business and operational concepts and KPIs is sought after and will be highly valued. (Variable/Fixed cost differentiation & underlying drivers, Debt & Interest calculation and effects, Working Capital breakdown & significance of each part, cash flow importance etc.)
