Overview

TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for a detail–oriented Senior Financial Accountant at our Head Office in Athens. This position reports to the General Accounting Manager. The primary purpose of this role is to prepare financial reporting, perform key accounting controls, and take ownership of the closing process, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely financial information, while contributing to the effectiveness of the accounting function.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing process, preparing monthly and annual financial statements within defined deadlines, while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and internal accounting policies
• Perform key account reconciliations and financial controls to ensure completeness and integrity of accounting records
• Prepare and maintain accounting records, reporting deliverables, and supporting documentation for financial reporting
• Provide financial information and supporting documentation to Internal and External Auditors, as well as Public Authorities
• Contribute to broader accounting activities, including accounts payable entries, provisions, accruals, and other period-end adjustments
• Participation in cross-functional projects, supporting process optimization

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting. Master's degree or ACCA qualification will be considered a plus.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a multinational environment or large-scale organization, or in an Audit / Consulting firm
• Solid knowledge of Financial Accounting, IFRS, and Greek Accounting Standards
• Good understanding of the Greek tax framework, CIT and VAT
• Experience with SAP
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to perform effectively under pressure
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken
• Military service fulfilled (where applicable)
