Costa Navarino is looking for an Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk who plays a vital role within the Finance Department, ensuring the accurate recording and timely collection of receivables. The position supports the organization’s financial stability by minimizing bad debt exposure, maintaining strong relationships with our partners, and ensuring smooth coordination with internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts and post deposits in OPERA.

• Investigate and resolve unidentified deposits in coordination with Reservations and Sales departments.
• Conduct daily credit card reconciliations (OPERA, Micros, TAC) and reconcile transactions through the ELAVON system.
• Post bank payments accurately in OPERA.
• Reconcile accounts and issue credit notes or supplementary invoices when required.
• Upload invoices to online platforms (e.g. Expedia, TUI).
• Send City Ledger invoices, statements, and payment reminders to companies and travel agents.
• Correct billing details and reissue invoices through OPERA when necessary.
• Monitor and follow up on group deposits in collaboration with the Sales department.
• Manage foreign and local travel agent commissions (IATA, CTAC system), including approvals, corrections, and documentation for Accounts Payable.
• Handle GXP requests.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role will be considered an asset.
• Experience with OPERA and/or SAP will be preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
