Key Responsibilities

Payroll Coordination

• Act as the main liaison between the Resort and the external payroll provider
• Validate all payroll inputs: attendance, overtime, 6th day, sick leave, allowances, service charge distribution
• Prepare and review monthly payroll submissions
• Support employees with payroll-related queries
• Ensure all hiring requests are budgeted and approved before processing

Payroll Analysis & Compliance

• Prepare payroll-related provisions and journal entries
• Perform monthly payroll cost and headcount variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with labour law, internal controls and Resort SOPs
• Support internal and external payroll audits

General Accounting Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll-related postings and accruals
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of payroll-related GL accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assist with general accounting tasks such as journal entries, vendor/employee reconciliations and other duties assigned by the Director of Finance
• Participate in ad hoc accounting and payroll projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in payroll and/or accounting; hotel experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of Greek labour law (overtime, 6th day, holidays)
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail, confidentiality and analytical mindset
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with HR, external payroll providers and Finance team members
