ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client Kerakoll Hellas, the leading manufacturer of materials and services in the applied chemical sector for construction, and the only company offering a comprehensive global Green Building solution - supporting the design, construction, and use of buildings that are environmentally responsible and promote healthy living spaces, is in search of a Finance Manager.

Scope of the role:

The role is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial operations in Greece and exporting countries, ensuring effective financial planning, compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and optimal resource allocation in support of business objectives. It includes responsibility for core finance activities such as financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and tax.
The position provides strategic financial input to management and plays an active role in business plan development.
Close collaboration with internal functions and external stakeholders, including auditors, legal advisors, and financial institutions, is essential. The role holds responsibility for leading and coordinating the Finance function, ensuring efficient team operation and alignment with business priorities, and supports financial aspects of legal matters in coordination with external counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive improvement of financial and controlling processes, focusing on efficiency, cost optimization, strong internal controls, and data quality, aligned with Corporate Finance standards.
• Monitor and control financial resources to ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, accounting standards, and regulations.
• Lead statutory and Group financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements, profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and regulatory filings.
• Manage financial planning activities, including budgeting, multi-year business planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, and risk identification.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns, declarations, and mandatory financial documents, overseeing taxation, payroll coordination (including provision of payroll notes to the payroll provider), insurance, credit control, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Act as a strategic finance partner to management, providing analysis, modelling, forecasts, and insights to support decisions and business performance.
• Provide guidance on the financial impact of changing laws, regulations, and evolving business conditions.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the local finance function and Corporate Finance, ensuring alignment on reporting, policies, and strategic objectives.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, advisors, insurers, and legal counsel.
• Oversee financial and contractual disputes, and support international expansion by managing financial and legal aspects of new business setups and cross-border operations.
• Negotiate contracts and oversee payments with private insurance providers.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, setting objectives, supporting professional growth, and ensuring effective workload planning and performance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) are a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial management, including at least 2 years in a role with increased responsibility in finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS and local GAAP), tax compliance, and reporting.
  • Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial audit.
  • Experience in preparing statutory financial statements and budget reports.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience supervising and developing team members.
  • Multi-year experience in similar roles within global manufacturing settings.
  • High integrity, accountability, and ability to perform under pressure in a cross-functional environment.
