Avax is seeking a Financier to join its Concessions and PPPs Business Unit, reporting directly to the Head of Business Development.
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial and risk assessments of investment opportunities
- Review and provide input on tender documentation
- Analyze investment and business plans
- Develop, review, and maintain financial models
- Liaise with external advisors and project partners
- Support financial structuring activities
- Participate in negotiations with lenders and key stakeholders
- Monitor financing arrangements during the project implementation phase
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Engineering
- MBA or an MSc in Finance will be considered an asset
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in a relevant field
- Advanced financial modelling skills
- Experience in financial structuring
- Highly organized and responsible
- Strong motivation to develop professionally and build a long-term career
- Willingness to travel and work abroad for short or extended periods
- Fluency in written and spoken Greek and English
