Role Summary:
The successful candidate will perform administrative tasks, including processing and recording transactions, account reconciliation, preparing reports and budgets, fielding communications with clients, fact-checking and filing, assisting in the collection process of claims recoverable and payments of premiums payable.
Your Role:
- Reconciliation of clients’ balances and of various accounts by client.
- Collections of monthly client balances.
- Preparation and payment of client premium payables.
- Internal communication with departments to finalize monthly production, working with detailed and complex spreadsheets to analyze and review financial results.
- Follow up with underwriting on premium discrepancies.
- Controlling/assisting in reconciling claims, collecting claim recoverable.
- Handling banking needs for clients, including routine monitoring of bank account balances.
- Production and distribution of information requested by external auditors in a timely manner.
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports and assisting with finance projects and initiatives.
What you bring:
- BSc in Accounting and/or Finance, Economics
- 0-2 years of experience in similar position / in insurance industry
- Computer literacy, MS Office
- Excellent communication skills in Greek & English
- Effective responsiveness to pressure and tight deadlines
- Use of Microsoft Navision is considered as a plus
