We are in the process of digital transformation implementing SAP and other ERP systems, investing in plant construction & equipment, and setting high standards for sustainability targets in environmental, corporate governance, and social responsibility. We are seeking to recruit a Costing Specialist, based at our Athens Headquarters and reporting to CFO, so as to facilitate and ensure the integrity of cost accounting information and contribute actively to the development of new systems and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Review manufacturing orders as part of the month-end close process and contact appropriate sources to ensure accuracy
- Monitor all inventory movements
- Ensure that proper adjustments and corrections are made
- Facilitate proper balance sheet valuation
- Engage in products pre costing procedure
- Support the periodic cycle / year-end stock count process
- Participate in ad hoc projects, requests and reports
- Contribute to development, execution & completion of new systems, procedures and process improvements
- Work in accordance with the requirements of the written Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Directives and Protocols of the company's Quality System, that are related to the duties of the described position.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in industrial cost accounting or relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Greek and English)
- SAP proficiency (MM, PP, FI, CO)
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- High standards of business ethics and professional conduct
- Team player with a collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across functions.
