Howden Hellas S.A. is growing, and we are seeking a dynamic and driven insurance professional to join our team as Insurance Broker, Trade Credit & Surety!

📍 Location: Athens   💼 Full-time | Permanent

Role Summary:

As a member of our Trade Credit – Surety Team, you will be responsible for the retention of current insurance clientele, for the placement of new business, and the assurance of clients’ satisfaction, negotiating and accomplishing business deals.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the Trade Credit Insurance & Surety portfolio across new clients and existing ones, achieving the team’s targets for new business and renewals/retention of current clientele.
• Cultivating and maintaining excellent client relationships; arranging and attending meetings conducting in depth dialogue and developing a positive business relationship built on mutual trust.
• Dealing with clients, providing them with tailored solutions according to their needs, delivering excellent customer service.
• Reviewing and negotiating complex insurance policies to mitigate exposing the Company to unacceptable risk.
• Preparing broking submissions, negotiating and placing insurance policies in the market.
• Working side by side and in close collaboration with the team, ensuring timeframes and deliverables are met.
• Keep up to date with the insurance market.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures.
• Ensuring that the company’s workflow systems are updated promptly to reflect the current status of any risk.
• Setting and delivering budget objectives (growth and profitability).

What you will need to have:

• BSc in Insurance Science, Economics or relevant field.
• License as Insurance Broker (Certified by the BoG)
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar or related role.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent English command (written and oral).
