We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance Division at TSIMIS S.A., a certified Great Place to Work for 2025. This role is based at our main offices in Moschato and plays a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, tax compliance, and smooth reporting processes. Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure timely month-end and year-end closings in accordance with IFRS.
🔹 Conduct monthly reconciliations across accounting and commercial systems, and ensure consistency in reporting.
🔹 Analyze budget variances and assist with financial forecasting and tender participation.
🔹 Maintain accurate records for tax filings (VAT, withholding taxes, income tax), and support submission processes.
🔹 Ensure proper use of the MyDATA platform and support compliance-related activities.
🔹 Support external audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and standards.
🔹 Participate in cost analysis, profitability studies, and financial process improvements.
🔹 Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain financial controls and enhance efficiency.

What you will need to excel in this role:
🔸 At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar accounting role.
🔸 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field (Master’s degree is a plus).
🔸 Solid knowledge of Greek accounting and tax legislation.
🔸 Proficiency in ERP systems and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
🔸 Fluency in Greek and a good command of English.
🔸 Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
🔸 Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to deadlines.
🔸 Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
