For our offices located in Corinth, Greece, Landis+Gyr is currently seeking to fill the position of:
FP&A Analyst
Key areas of Responsibility
- Participate to the Financial Planning Process (medium term planning, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting), analyze operational performance drivers, identify business risks, and make recommendations for actions, to secure delivery of company targets.
- Provide actionable insights to influence senior management in decision making; safeguard and ensure strict compliance to Group Governance Standards, Authorization matrix and Group Financial Standards – Directives.
- Actively engage in the month and year end closing process.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting package for the entity and the transfer price true-up process.
- Follow up production routines in SAP, review with Operations and Engineering and secure required updates, follow up direct material and labor cost performance.
- Monitor and analyze overheads main cost drivers, i.e. transportation, Expeditors Cost Freight, Product Price Variance, Storage cost to 3rd parties, etc.
- Perform inventory valuation, regular cost runs; in charge of full cost inventory valuation in statutory accounts.
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of active control framework & systems within the organization.
Required Skills
- University degree in Finance and / or Accounting.
- Master’s degree or professional qualification, preferably in Accounting, will be considered an asset.
- Minimum 3-5 years solid working experience within Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably across a multinational manufacturing organization with diversity and complexity.
- Solid experience in SAP is strongly desired.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of cost and management accounting.
- Proficient use of MS office, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, in Greek and English.
- Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- High standards of business ethics and professional conduct.
