About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant - Cost Accounting Specialist to establish and manage cost accounting processes. This role involves designing systems, analyzing cost data, preparing reports, monitoring inventory, and identifying variances to improve cost efficiency. The role reports to Head of Finance Department and is based in Karditsa. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procedures to analyze production costs and calculate the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
• Record and analyze actual costs to determine monthly results and future projections.
• Compare theoretical and actual consumption to identify variances and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with warehouse regulations.
• Monitor and analyze Material Price Variances (MPV) and Material Usage Variances (MUV).

Candidate Profile:

• Education: University degree in Economics (mandatory).
• Experience: at least 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in FMCG or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse compliance and costing legislation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Soft1 preferred) and MS Office.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
