ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of one of the most well-known and pioneering industrial company based in Thessaloniki, with significant export activity, is looking for an experienced and driven Executive to fill the following position:

Finance Director (Ref.5707/FD/ESS/GR)

Profile

Reporting to the General Manager and closely collaborating with the CEO, the Finance Director is responsible for the management of the company’s financial operations including supervision of the accounting department and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy, aligning with business objectives.
• Lead the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget. Oversee costing and identify areas for cost optimization.
• Analyze and manage cash flows, ensuring liquidity and effective working capital management (receivables, payables, inventory).
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Supervise pricing strategies and credit control, managing customer credit and maintaining banking relationships.
• Ensure accurate preparation and submission of all tax filings, staying compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct financial analysis for investments and projects, assessing risks and returns.
• Coordinate the company’s ERP systems and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit standards.
• Lead and develop the finance team, promoting high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree (MSc, MBA) is strongly desired.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial company.
• A-class signature.
• Very good command of the English language
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office applications
• Analytical thinking, adaptability and problem-solving abilities
• Leadership skills with the ability to delegate responsibilities
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and demanding environment
• Integrity and accountability
