International Airport of Heraklion, Crete S.A. is currently looking for a:

Paralegal (Interpreter – Translator)

Role responsibilities:

• Provides comprehensive paralegal support and language interpretation services to the Company’s General Legal Department and foreign internal and external stakeholders
• Facilitates communication between non-Greek speaking shareholders or other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties fully understand the proceedings and documents involved for the Company’s main functions, specifically such of the Company’s governing bodies.
• Provides legal research and other similar duties for the support of the Legal Department
• Provides accurate and clear interpretation (from English to Greek and Greek to English) of discussions/deliberations meetings being held by the governing bodies of the Company (Board of Directors, Board Committees, General Assembly), ensuring confidentiality and ethical handling of any available information.
• Translates contractual and other types of legal documentation, involving technical/commercial/business terminology relating to the aviation industry.
• Provides paralegal work, such as legal research and collection of information from various sources.
• Prepares legal correspondence and other type of legal documentation such as briefs, memos etc.
• Organizes and maintains proper archive for the Legal Department and provides administrative work such as management of deadlines for the Department’s critical activities. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in legal or paralegal studies or a related field.
• Certification in legal interpretation/translation is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years working as a paralegal and/or translator/interpereter
• Proven experience as a legal interpreter is highly desirable.
• Proficient fluency in the Greek and English language in terms of oral and writing skills.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology
• Familiarity with the infrastructure/aviation industry and related terminology will be considered as a plus.
• Strong computer literacy and experience/regular use of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint
