The Environment and Water department of LDK Consultants seeks to recruit a Financial Officer who will be responsible for the financial planning, reviewing, monitoring and management of EU funded projects (fee based).

Main responsibilities:

• Preparing and updating the projects’ budget
• Managing timesheets, invoicing of individual experts’ work
• Preparing financial reports and supporting documents for internal and external audits
• Reviewing administrative and financial documentation

Qualifications & Skills

• University degree in economics/finance or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience with at least 2 years in the financial management (and monitoring) of EU funded projects, to include project budget forecasting
• Good knowledge of EU external actions contracting procedures (PRAG)
• Excellent knowledge of English required. Working level of French is an advantage.
• Proficient command of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Excel in particular
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Good interpersonal skills for an international environment
• A problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, initiative, and self-motivated
