Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Junior Financial Analyst to join our team. The candidate will work closely to the Senior financial analyst and Finance director in order to assist in daily operations and contribute to the team’s efficiency. The team needs to fulfill internal group reporting tasks, as well as coordination with external accountants. The ideal candidate needs to have an understanding of accounting principles, very good use of Microsoft Excel, creative thinking and a willingness to learn and develop.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration and import of invoices and other documents regarding expenses.
• Bank accounts monitoring and reconciliation
• Company web banking use, create and monitor transactions
• Handle reports regarding sales and expenses in excel spreadsheets and input in Management Reporting software.
• Gathering and organizing data from various sources for management reporting.
• Liaise with external accountants to facilitate P&L and BS reconciliation.
• Communicate with suppliers for documentation and payment matters.
• Assist in monthly accounts closing and Financial Statements preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (Greek GAAP/IFRS).
• Knowledge of MS Office (Advanced knowledge of Excel).
• Good communications and presentation skills (written and verbal) in Greek and English language.
• Team player
• Analytical thinker and problem solver. Ability to work in a timely manner and within deadlines, as well as under own initiative.

Positive Considerations
