Energy Supply Specialist

Position responsibilities:

• Purchasing electricity in wholesale market in order to cover customers’ needs
• Identification of best company strategies aiming to the minimization of wholesale electricity market cost
• Company supply cost budget formulation
• Development of low and medium voltage load forecasting tools
• End customers cost analysis and pricing (medium and low voltage)
• Follow-up of current Greek and European  and regulation, ensuring company’s compliance
• Handling and validation of incoming supply charges data and settlements
• Cost of purchased electricity analysis & reporting
• Developing necessary excel files and scripts for supply reasons
• Participation in Hellenic Energy Exchange (HEnEx) energy markets

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor in Finance , Natural Sciences or Mathematics
• Master’s degree in Energy or Finance is a plus
• 2-3 years of professional experience in energy sector companies
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office)
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (SQL, VBA, Python, R, MATLAB)
• Excellent English language knowledge (spoken and written)
• Analytical thinking and critical assessment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Teamwork skills
