“DEVISE ENGINEERING S.A.”, a leading manufacturer and constructor of Water & Wastewater Treatment Systems and Plants, with extensive exporting activity, is seeking a Project & Design Engineer to support the Projects Implementation & Operations dpt., on a full time basis. The position holder will report to the Projects & Operations Manager and shall have the following qualifications and professional experience:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organise, coordinate and manage project construction activities together with the Project Manager
• Create relevant engineering drawings in ACAD under the instructions and cooperation of Project Manager
• Get involved with the design & engineering of new projects
• Follow and Monitor project planning through MS-Project platform
• Schedule required time-schedule changes and recommend actions
• Liaise with Operations Manager to Control project costs
• Liaise with third party contractors & suppliers to ensure all equipment is delivered on time
• Evaluate, organize and prioritise workload within a given schedule
• Identify engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented
• Inform all supervisors and subcontractors promptly of any construction schedule changes, and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
• Maintain budgetary, scheduling, and project database oversight, and report regularly to project manager to keep him/her constantly informed of job progress, plans and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules.
• Assist in materials compliance & quality control, as well as quality assurance standards and specifications.

Necessary Academic Qualifications and Professional Requirements

• Higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Chemical Engineering from a recognised University.
• At least 3 years of Relevant Professional Experience in project management, project engineering and design and project planning experience (scope, schedule, cost, quality) in the field of project implementation
• Good knowledge of ACAD design program
• Excellent use of English Language

Desirable Skills & qualifications

• Knowledge of MS-PROJECT time schedule planning
• Familiarity with either water, environmental, oil & gas or other infrastructure projects
• Ability to travel abroad occasionally.
