Costa Navarino is seeking a Residences Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient operation, upkeep, and overall maintenance of the residential buildings within the Navarino Dunes Resort.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the work schedule for the department's personnel.
- Supervise the proper operation of the department's systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pools, civil etc ensuring top-tier reliability for luxury standards. Maintain an adequate inventory of critical parts.
- Prepare regular reports on departmental activities. Collaborate with the finance department regarding departmental expenses.
- Organize and oversee the implementation of the preventive maintenance schedule. Organize and supervise the execution of emergency maintenance and repairs.
- Design and implement the department's technical staff training program. Draft and oversee the proper execution of SOPs. Carry out HR management procedures.
- Perform the duties of a Duty Engineer.
- Prepare agreements with external partners and supervise them.
- Collaborate with other departments of the Technical Services division and act as a central communication hub between staff, management and owners, providing regular updates of building status.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, company policies, SOPs, and Brand Standards at all times. Guide and encourage the team to do the same.
- Attend all training sessions and seminars provided by the company and stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments.
- Run small or bigger projects requested by the owners
- Have a high level involvement on new constructed villas and take part on snagging procedures.
Requirements
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
- 10 years experience in similar role
- Sufficient general knowledge of building systems, both structural and electromechanical
- Experience in facilities management
- Experience in organizing and executing technical projects
- Sufficient knowledge of relevant technical legal framework and standards
- Experience in team management
- Experience in drafting and monitoring budgets
- Proficiency in the English language
- Adequate knowledge of computer usage
