The Role
As Co-Founder & CTO, you will step into a company that has already done the hard early work, the concept is validated, the market is confirmed, the relationships are in place, and the majority of the code is built. Your job is to own the entire technical vision from day one, lead the engineering execution, ensure the platform is enterprise-grade, and scale it into a product that the world's top crypto exchanges run their operations on.
You will work directly alongside the CEO & the BD Manager and be a core decision-maker in everything from product architecture to hiring to investor conversations. This is a seat at the table — not a role underneath one.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Taking full ownership of CSI's technical architecture, codebase, and product roadmap
- Leading and scaling the internal engineering team as the company grows
- Ensuring the platform meets enterprise-grade security, reliability, and compliance standards
- Overseeing AI agent development, data pipeline infrastructure, and exchange integrations
- Driving the technical due diligence process with investors during the fundraising round
- Working with Innodata, our technical audit and AI training partner, to validate and harden the platform
- Making critical technology decisions — stack, tooling, infrastructure, deployment — with full authority
- Translating business and product requirements into scalable engineering execution
- Representing the technical vision of ChainSpark to partners, investors, and enterprise clients
What We Are Looking For
- Prior experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Technology at a recognized company — whether a large organization or a successful startup. We want someone who has done this before.
- Deep understanding of the Web3, blockchain, and digital assets industry. You should know how exchanges operate, what on-chain data looks like, and why the problem we are solving is real.
- Strong expertise in AI systems, multi-agent architectures, and machine learning pipelines — this is the technical core of what CSI is built on.
- Hands-on experience with data engineering, real-time monitoring systems, and API integrations at scale.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity, fraud detection, and compliance requirements in a fintech or crypto context.
- Experience building and managing engineering teams — you know how to hire well and lead people, not just write code.
- Familiarity with enterprise software deployment, SaaS infrastructure, and cloud architecture.
- A PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field is preferred but absolutely not a requirement — proven track record and real-world results matter more to us.
- Fluency in English is striclty required.

- Is energized by early-stage environments — comfortable with ambiguity, fast decisions, and high ownership

- Is transparent, direct, and collaborative, a genuine partner to the team
- Understands that the short-term sacrifice of equity-only compensation is the price of getting in early on something real
- Wants to build something that lasts, not just collect a title
Compensation & Equity
We believe in being fully transparent about what we are offering and why.
ChainSpark is an early-stage startup, under one year old, actively closing its Pre-Seed round. The right CTO candidate will be compensated as follows:
- 2.5% equity granted upon joining, subject to meeting the full criteria of the role
- Loyalty equity of 0.5% per year for 5 years, beginning from your first day — rewarding those who build with us for the long term
- Salary will begin upon closing of the Pre-Seed round or as revenue scales — both of which are a matter of months away, not years. This is not a distant promise; the fundraising process is active and progressing.
We are not asking anyone to take a leap of faith blindly. The product exists. The validation is real. The round is in motion. What we are asking for is a professional who sees the same opportunity we do and wants to be a part of it from the earliest possible moment.
Why Now
The window to join ChainSpark at this level will not stay open. As we close the Pre-Seed round and convert KuCoin to a paying enterprise client, the founding team will be set. The person who joins now gets co-founder equity, a seat at every important table, and the chance to be part of building the intelligence infrastructure that the crypto exchange industry has never had and urgently needs.
