                                   Optimization Engineer

                            (based in Thivai, Central Greece)

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimization of production process per product with interventions in critical parameters of production line operation (temperature profile, fine tuning formulation, production parameters, etc)
• Provides studies and analysis to propose technological solutions in the production process aiming to increase productivity and consistency and reduced production waste collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Conducting time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement in worker productivity.
• Developing and implementing standardized work procedures to improve overall plant performance.
• Participation in the evaluation and optimal adaptation of new or alternative polymers in the production process
• Undertakes the review, management, execution & quality evaluation of projects for the improvement & adaptation of existing products.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Chemical)
• 3-5 years of professional experience in plastics industry or related field
• Knowledge of Materials / Polymer Technologies will be considered as an asset
• Extroversion - Possibility of frequent trips
• Analytical thinking, innovation and creativity
